Mr. Fife's Lively Sketch

I should probably post something here every once in a while, so here's a breezy 4 page sort-of-horror story.

Well, this was a fun little story even though it doesn't exactly break new ground or anything. This is from an old Gold Key comic which listed neither the artist's nor the writer's name any where in the book. Dammit, Gold Key! It's from an issue of Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery, if that helps. One thing about Gold Key comics, their interior art never knocked anybody's socks off, but the painted covers were outstanding! It's just too bad they didn't publish their names.

The way the monster was drawn sort of reminds me of old MAD magazine art. Just a thought!
